PURPOSE:To obtain titled composition effective for preventing, e.g., the sliding part under from atmosphere from seizing thus capable of keeping said part off corrosion, by incorporating a specific amount of specified mercaptan in a mineral oil and/or synthetic oil each having specified viscosity. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) a mineral oil and/or synthetic oil each having a viscosity at 40 deg.C of 1- 100cst with (B) a mercaptan of formula RSH (R is 14-20c alkyl) (pref. having 14-18C straight-chain alkyl group) so as to be 5-5,000ppm on a sulfur basis. |
