PURPOSE:To improve the suppressing effect of crosstalk as well as the mass productivity for an in-line head containing two head gaps on the same straight line, by minimizing the gap formed between head cores set opposite to each other centering on a shielding plate in the direction which is parallel to the head gap surface and vertical to the head gap. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic material plate is cut into rods, and grooves for winding are formed to half number of these rod-shaped magnetic materials 41. Thus the rod-shaped magnetic materials are newly obtained. These rod-shaped magnetic materials 41 and 42 are cut along the broken lines to obtain core halves 43 and 44 of a parallelepiped. Then the winding is applied to the half 44 obtained from the rod-shaped magnetic material having a groove for winding. This half 44 is butted and adhered to the other half 43 to obtain a V- shaped head core chip. Then two such core chips are adhered to both sides of a shielding plate 49. Here windings 45 and 46 are provided together with adhesion layers 47 and 48 and grooves 49a and 49b for winding respectively. |
