PURPOSE:To make border lines between electrodes and a photoconductive film straight and a detected current between two electrodes uniform by a method wherein, when a common electrode and an individual electrode separated from each other, are formed on a transparent substrate, an insulation layer of the same size as a read-out region is formed on the photoconductive film formed on the substrate surface and two electrodes are formed from top parts of two ends of the insulation layer to the surface of the photoconductive film. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer 5, made of CdSe, CdS or the like, is formed on a transparent substrate 9, made of glass or the like, and a belt-shape insulation layer 10, made of negative resist, of the same size as a read-out region is formed on the layer 5. An electrode conductor layer 7 is formed on the whole surface including the layer 10 and a long slit 11 is formed on and along the insulation layer 10. With this constitution, the conductor layer 7 is separated into a common electrode 71 and an individual electrode 72 and a light is applied from the back of the substrate 9 to reduce the resistance of a conductive film 51 beneath the insulation layer 10 and a current is produced in a circuit of the electrode 71, the film 51 and the electrode 72. |
