PURPOSE:To lower a noise of a rotary machine by surrounding in double the machine for generating the noise by a housing and a partition wall. CONSTITUTION:A rotary machine 2 having a cooling fan 11 and a controller 3 of the machine 2 are contained in a housing 1. The machine 2 is further surrounded by a partition wall for holding an interval from the wall of the housing 1. Cooling air sucked from a suction port (a) is fed from a vent passage (k) into a vent passage (l), and fed from the suction port (f) of a rotary machine room into the rotary machine room. After the cooling air further cools the machine from outside, the air is fed from the air inlet (d) of the machine 2 into the machine, advanced as designated by a broken line with arrow (i) to cool the machine, and fed from an exhaust port (e) of the machine into a passage (g), through a passage (h), from an exhaust port (b) out of the housing (1). Further, a porous silencer mounted with an absorber is mounted at the side faced with the passage, thereby further reducing the noise. |
