PURPOSE:To perform the diagnosis effective for recovery of a reactor protecting device of an atomic power plant by adding a fault diagnosing device which gives a detailed diagnosis to a device to be diagnosed and at the same time fixes instantaneously a faulty area when a fault is detected. CONSTITUTION:A system fault diagnosing circuit 14 diagnoses the propriety of the final device output information to the original input information of a device 1 to be diagnosed and delivers a fault detection signal 13 when detecting a fault. At the same time, an analysis diagnosing circuit 16 gives a detailed diagnosis to the faulty area and sends the faulty area information 15 to a diagnosis sequence control circuit 20. The circuit 20 usually performs alternately a real operation of the device 1 and a detailed fault diagnosis for each component element. In case a fault is detected by the circuit 14 during a real operation, the detailed fault diagnosis is carried out for each corresponding component element. |
