The structure of the motor is as follows: a rotor (1) has on each of both its faces N/2 pairs of poles having alternatingly opposite signs; the poles of one face are directly facing those of the other face and with the same sign; two stators, an upper stator (b), and a lower stator (a); each stator is comprised of coplanar polar pieces and tangled one (2b, 2a) into the other (3b, 3a) and separated by a sinuous air gap (4); each polar piece has N/2 poles spaced by an angular interval which is double of that existing between the poles of each face of the rotor; the magnetic connection between the stators is provided by the core (6) of a coil (7). Said structure ensures an optimum efficiency. The operation mode of the motor may be adapted to stepping, bipolar or unipolar, or continuous synchronous modes. |
