PURPOSE:To increase an earth area and a flame current value, by a method wherein, in a burner having a burner head in which a non-conductive material such as ceramic is used, a plurality of openings are provided in the locking part of a clamping plate. CONSTITUTION:Openings 10a are formed at the inside of a locking part 10 for clamping the outer edge of a burner head 1 so that a number of pores 1a in the burner head are positioned within the opening 10a. In such constitution, flame is formed on the central side of the burner head 1 of a clamping plate 3, and besides, it is formed within the opening 10a in the locking part 10. Thus, an outer edge 10b of the locking part 10 and inner edges 10c and 10d of the opening 10a are brought into contact with the flame, and this increases an earth area and increases a flame current value, resulting in the provision of a burner most suitable for a flame detector employing a flame rod system. |
