PURPOSE:To restrain density unevenness of an image and to obtain a copy corresponding to density of every part of an original by detecting original density, sampling data at prescribed intervals, and computing them. CONSTITUTION:The differences between the computed average value of light quantity and each data stored in an RAM are computed and the results are distributed to the address spaces of the RAM. The voltage to be applied to a light source or developing bias is decided in accordance with the average value. When exposure is started, the differences with the average value stored in the RAM are read out in succession in synchronism with store timing, and the differences are multiplied with a proper coefficient. The obtained value is added to or subtracted from the voltage to be applied to the light source and obtained from the average value before, and the light emission quantity of the light source or developing bias is thus controlled to obtain proper copy densities on every part of the copy, thus permitting formation of a copy corresponding to every part of the original. |
