PURPOSE:To make a retractable head lamp cease at accurate positions by driving a motor turn it up or down until the optical axis thereof reaches the high or low position and redriving the motor to raise the lamp to the low position from any overrun. CONSTITUTION:When an inclination angle indicating switch 40 is turned to right by one step so as to turn down an optical axis, a selector 43 comes into contact with the points 43N and 431 and another selector 44 comes into contact with the points 443 and 444 so that a transistor TR3 is turned off and transistors TR4 and TR1 are off. A motor 10 is then driven reversely until the selector SG of a feedback switch unit 12 makes contact with a contact point S2, causing a head lamp to stop. If the selector SG overruns to a contact point S3, the transistors TR3 and TR4 are on and off, respectively so that a transistor TR2 becomes on. The motor 10 is therefore turned clockwise until the selector SG makes contact with the contact point S2. At the time of the contact, the lamp is stopped. If the optical axis of the head lamp overruns its low position, it is redriven up to a stop of an accurate position. |
