<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being fed momentarily at a high speed and becoming loose by providing an angle sensor which detects the rotational extent of a cam, and using its signal to make the abutting timing of a pinch roller on a capstan in play mode coincident with the ON-OFF timing of a reel motor. CONSTITUTION:The angle sensor (not shown in a figure) detects the rotational extent of the cam 5, and the reel motor is braked with its detection signal. Further, when one terminal of an operation arm 12 is positioned at the maximum-diameter part 5d6 of the cam 5, the play mode is entered. An edge cam 5d rotates the operation arm 12 clockwise and counterclockwise to move a head base 16 forth and back, and the angle sensor ceases an ON-OFF signal the reel motor right before the pinch roller 15 contacts or leaves the capstan 17 to drive or stop the reel motor. Therefore, the ON-OFF operation of the reel motor is performed synchronously with the contacting and leaving of the pinch roller 15 and capstan 17, so the tape is prevented from being fed momentarily at a high speed and becoming loose in play mode.</p> |
