<p>The handle of a toothbrush is of an elastic type of plastics material, hollow, and rigid enough to be held in comfort and soft enough to be pressed by the hand during use, thus releasing the cleaning fluid or paste through the bristles (11) onto the surface to be cleaned. The head (12) is attached to the handle (23, 24) by a screwed connection (16). A channel (15) through the head connects the hollow handle with an opening (17) between the roots of the bristles. The handle has another screwed connection (19) for a cap. The paste can be recharged through this connection.</p> |
