PURPOSE:To reduce the height of a seat by installing a series type engine for motor-cycle having a rear exhaust structure, in tilted form, and arranging an intake system at in front of a chassis frame and lowering a seat rail at the back of the chassis frame. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder block 22 and the cylinder head 23 of an engine 21 having a rear exhaust structure are arranged in backwardly aslant form by a prescribed angle (d) with respect to the horizontal part 20a of a chassis frame 20. One edge of an exhaust pipe 24 is connected to an outlet port 22a at the back of the engine 21, and the other edge is connected to a muffler 26 through an exhaust chamber 25. While, in the space 27 formed between the inlet port 22b in front of the engine 21 and a steering head 20b in front of the chassis frame 20, an intake system 29 constituted of a carburetor 8 and an air cleaner 28 are arranged. Therefore, a seat rail 20d is set lower with respect to the ground surface 5, and the seat height H' is reduced. |
