A work vehicle (1), for example a lift truck or wheel loader, carries a unit support (9) on its front end facing the working appliance, on which a plurality of auxiliary units are arranged. The auxiliary units are driven by the crank shaft of the engine (5) by way of a prop shaft (14), a split distributor shaft (10) and two belt drives (24, 27). The distributor shaft (10) can be interrupted by a main coupling (13). A controllable manual coupling (30), by means of which the individual auxiliary units can be additionally connected, if desired, is seated on the shaft of each auxiliary unit. A welding current generator, a power current generator, a pump and/or an air compressor (23), for example, are used as auxiliary units.
