How to use roofs easily as solar collectors is shown in this broadening of the invention. To this end, the pipes, which absorb the heat from the pantiles during insolation, are first to be laid on the rafters during building of houses or renovation of roofs. The roof pantiles (roof tiles) are to have channels on the underside, with which they grip accurately on these pipes and half surround them. If roofs are prefabricated, then in the case of subsequent laying of the copper pipes for heat absorption, use can be made of the cavities which are formed by the undulating shape of the roof tiles and the rafters. The pipes are thus laid through these cavities and fastened to the underside of the roof tiles with an adhesive or clamps. If this is not possible as a result of the shape of the roof tiles, webs can be clamped or clipped on the roof pantiles and these webs transmit the heat from the roof pantiles to the copper pipes and at the same time hold the copper pipes securely. In this case, the pipes run on the underside of the rafters, fastened to the webs inside the roof. Instead of pipes, use can also be made of bands which absorb the heat over a larger area, if these bands are hollow, in other words very small pipes are fused together into wide bands.
