Device for regulating the volumetric flow of a flowing medium in a passage, which device has a housing with an inlet opening attached to the passage and an outlet opening for the flowing medium, in which means adjustable inside the housing are arranged for changing the flow velocity of the medium with approximately uniform velocity distribution over the cross-section of the passage part attached to the connection opening.
