PURPOSE:To obtain a good picture image causing only slight decrease of maximum intensity even at high temp. and high humidity without causing change of characteristics during preservation for a long time by incorporating aq. polymer latex which has been treated with electrodialysis. CONSTITUTION:Electrodialytically treated aq. polymer latex is used for a photosensitive material. Suitable aq. polymer latex is cationic or anionic one. pref. polymer latex of vinyl resin, containing for example cationic mordant or cationic antistatic agent. The latex utilizes diffusion transfer of dye or precursor thereof in such as color diffusion transfer reversal process. Suitable ion-exchange membrane to be used for the electrodialysis is styrenedivinyl benzene copolymer film, and sulfone group is introduced as ion exchange group into a cation exchange membrane, and quat. ammonium group is introduced into an anion exchange memberane. The electrodialyzed latex is used by incorporating in a siver halide emulsion layer. |
