According to this mounting, the coupling of the clutch release bearing 10 to the clutch release device 11 is performed by the intermediary of a docking device 30 wedged axially onto the latter. According to the invention, the docking member 30 is in two distinct parts 39, 40, which are axially connected to each other in a releasable manner and which comprise, one, the bearing collar 31 by means of which the docking member 30 bears on the clutch release device 11 and the other, the bearing surface 34 with which the associated solidly-fastening snap ring 32 interacts.
