The aim of the invention is to provide, by simple means, an automatic feeding of a bending press which is also automatic, in order to obtain an operation which does not require any human intervention once the adjustments have been made. A device according to the invention comprises a positioning station 6 which places the blanks in a fixed position and an automatically controlled transfer device 10 to 14, fitted with grasping means and capable of imparting movements of translation in three spatial directions and of rotation about a vertical axis to a metal sheet, this transfer device also serving to move the metal sheet between the planned successive metal sheet-bending operations. <IMAGE>
