PURPOSE:To improve the starting characteristic of a rotary compressor at its low speed and prevent the compressor from generating a vane noise, by providing a guide pin on side surfaces of a vane and a guide groove, which guides the guide pin, in side plates. CONSTITUTION:A rotary compressor provides a guide pin 5 to be arranged in both sides of a vane 4, and the guide pin 5 is guided by a guide groove 6 provided in both side plates closing a cylinder 1 from its both sides. Accordingly, the compressor, if its rotor 2 rotates, causes the vane 4 to be inevitably extended from and retracted to a vane groove by restriction of the guide groove 6 and the rotor 2, thus surely extending and retracting the vane. |
