PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a space in a car, by a method wherein a form body for a tape deck can be fitted in a recess which is formed as a result of removal of an ash tray for a car. CONSTITUTION:A cassette deck, mounted on a car, is formed with a form body 13, closely engaged with a recess part 12 formed by removal of an ash tray 11 removably attached in a car room, and a tape deck part 15 which is carried by the form body 13 and is contained in the recess part 12 togetherwith the form body. The form body 13 is formed in about a rectangular parallelelpiped on the whole, and rail parts 13a and 13b, slidably engaged with a guide member located in the recess part 12, are installed to the both sides of said from body. The cassette deck can be simply mounted such that the ash tray 11 is removed and the form body containing the deck is just fitted in the recess part 12. |
