PURPOSE:To sort recording materials after image formation in different modes according to the modes by controlling a stacking means on the basis of data stored in a memory means. CONSTITUTION:An elevator 210 is lifted up previously and all shelves 202 are mounted on the upper side of a cam 108. When copy paper is ejected from a main body and detected by paper detectors 106 and 107, the elevator is lowered by one stage and the lowermost shelf falls from the cam to stack the copy paper on the shelf. When the next copy paper is detected, the elevator is further lowered to stack the copy paper. When one group is copied completely, a solenoid 105 operates to free the cam 108, and the elevator 210 is lifted up. This operation is repeated until the quantity SET stored in a RAM, then the copying operation is all stopped. For example, when A4, 5, CHANGE, SET, ENT, 10, SET, and ENT are inputted with keys, five groups of ten sheets are copied. |
