PURPOSE:To attain precise tracking control without the deterioration of the quality of a reproduced picture by delaying an error signal due to the track shift of rotary heads in reproducing by a fixed period to use the delayed signal as a tracking control error signal for the reproducing rotary heads in the succeeding operation. CONSTITUTION:A tracking error signal extracted by a low pass filter 14 is supplied to a BBD16. On the other hand, DC voltage extracted by a variable resistor 17 is supplied to the BBD16 as a two-phase clock pulse through a VCO18 and a driver 19. The tracking error signal delayed by a fixed period is outputted from the BBD16, alternately supplied to adders 5a, 5b by a switch circuit 21 switched every track scanning period through a waveform correcting circuit 20 and then applied to bimorph actuators 2a, 2b through driving amplifiers 6a, 6b and damping resistors 8a, 8b to control the tracking of the rotary heads 3a, 3b. Thus, precise tracking control is attained. |
