<p>PURPOSE:To incinerate collected dust while continuing dust collecting operation by heating a filter constituted of a material having high dielectric constant and incinerating the collected dust in a microwave induction heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:Waste gas contg. soot is introduced from an arrow mark 5 and filtered with a filter 2 constituted of a material having high dielectric constant such as TiO2, etc., and the soot 4 is accumulated in the filter 2. The cleaned waste gas is discharged from 6. When the amt. of the accumulated soot increases, a power source of a magnetron oscillator is turned On, and electromagnetic wave is emitted toward the filter 2. Fine particles of the soot 4 accumulated on the surface of the filter 2 or penetrating into the inside of the filter are burnt succeeding to heat generation of the filter 2 by the effect of electromagnetic wave generated by the oscillator 3.</p> |
