PURPOSE:To perform welding smoothly by providing tension roll devices of line electrodes provided with elastic biassing devices and a device that holds each tension roll at fixed position when pulling out each line electrode in downstream of a bar electrode and a turning electrode. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of a tension roll devices 16-27 of the first line electrode 12a having an elastic biassing device 36 provided in downstream side of a bar electrode 1, tension roll devices 28-32 of the second line electrode 12b having an elastic biassing device provided in downstream of a turning electrode 3, a device 9 that separates the turning electrode 3 from the bar electrode 1 in radial direction for sending out a welded boiler drum 10 and sending in of a boiler drum formed body 11 after welding, a device 44 that pulls out the first line electrode 12a and the second line electrode 12a to downstream side by specified length under separated state and a device 38 that holds each tension roll device 16-32 at fixed position when pulling out. |
