PURPOSE:To form an external casing in the prescribed shape having a constant thickness using metal dies by connecting a coil lead of coil wound to a drum type core to the slanted portion of a terminal and molding the drum type core and the slanted portion of terminal with the resin casing. CONSTITUTION:A drum type core 11 has a wound coil 19 and the coil heads 19a, 19b at the start and the end of winding of coil 19 are wound to the slanted portions 16b, 17b of terminals 16, 17 and connected thereto by soldering. An external casing 20 made of resin is formed for the drum type core 11 having such a wound coil 19 and the slanted portions 16b, 17b of the terminals 16, 17 are also molded to such external casing 20. Namely, this external casing 20 is formed, for example, by the processes that the horizontal portions 16c, 17c of terminals 16, 17 are supported by the upper surface of molding metal die 21, the drum type core 11 is housed within a concaved part 21 in such a way as including the slanted portions 16b, 17b, the fused resin in supplied to such concaved part 21a and it is then hardened. |
