PURPOSE:To make an accelerator pedal's operating force lighter as well as to secure the return of a throttle valve, by installing a separate mechanism by means of a diaphragm piston to be operated under the specified condition along with a mechanism being interlocked with an accelerator wire as a throttle valve return mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A spring 10, whose one end is engaged with a throttle lever 8 and the other end is engaged with an accelerator lever 11, thereby energizing the throttle lever 8 in a valve opening direction, is installed in a throttle valve shaft 6. Likewise, a spring 17 energizing a diaphragm piston 16, where suction pipe pressure is led into, and a throttle lever 14 in a valve closing direction is installed. In time of accelerator pedal operating, a piston 16 operates, pulling the lever 14, and thereby regulation for movements in the lever 11 is released. And, when a foot comes off the accelerator pedal, the piston 16 is no longer set in motion, and a hook part 14a of the lever 14 contacts an end part 11a of the lever 11 so that a throttle valve is closed up to the idling opening with certainty by means of energizing force of the spring 17. |
