PURPOSE:To steepen rise of color development in the semidry development method by using a developer contg. acetylene glycol or its deriv. CONSTITUTION:At least one of acetylene glycols and their derivs. is incorporated in an amt. of 0.5-30wt% in the developing soln. contg. an org. solvent, such as polyol and alkali, and capable of developing a diazo copying material by coating it with a very small amt. The addition of said glycol additive to the developer can improve the rise of color development, prevent uneven development, and improve wetting of the developing soln. on the surface of a photosensitive layer, and defoaming action. As a result, it can prevent uneven coating of the photosensitive layer with the developing soln. due to generation of foams accompanied by circulation of the developing soln. |
