<p>PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient and adequit engine brake effect by reducing the clutch-released car speed in a Ds range compared with that in a D range and extending the directly connecting area of a clutch in said Ds range toward a low car speed side. CONSTITUTION:When a Ds range is selected, a Ds-range switch 51 is turned on and a voltage dividing circuit is earthed midway, reducing a reference voltage. Thereby, a clutch-engaged car speed V1H and a clutch-released car speed V1L, which operate equally as in the case of the D range, are moved uniformly to the low car speed side. Thus, an effect due to hysteresis similar to one in the case of the D range can be obtained while the clutch-released car speed V1L is reduced, extending a directly connecting area toward a low car speed side. Accordingly, an engine brake works sufficiently to a low car speed.</p> |
