PURPOSE:To make an apparatus compact, by using a core, reducing the filling space of a medium to be checked, performing a leakage test, thereby performing the evacuation work and the filling and extracting work of the medium to be checked in a short time, and reducing the amount of usage of the medium to be checked. CONSTITUTION:A core 7 is inserted in a tightly sealed tank, and a main body 1 and a lid 2 are fixed by clamps through a packing 3. After the inside of the main body 1 is evacuated, a medium to be checked 6 is filled and compressed and the leakage test is conducted. In order to prevent the movement of the core 7 in the tightly sealed tank, a pulrality of supporting bolts 8 are arranged in the radial direction on the upper surface of the core. A plurality of guide seats 10 are arranged in the radial directions at the bottom of the core 7. Thus the most of the inner volume of the tightly sealed tank is occupied by the core 7. The medium 6 is filled in the space formed by the inner surface of the main body 1 and the outer surface of the core 7. Therefore, the required amount of the medium 6 is very small. The working times for the evacuation work and the filling and extracting work of the medium can be shortened. The testing apparatus can be made compact. |
