PURPOSE:To inspect the characteristics of component parts, such as, for example, their number, upon press-fitting thereof to ensure the garantee of the quality of the parts, by lowering a press-fit plate to press-fit a component part into a workpiece, and as well by confirming the coincedence of a detection signal from a component part detecting sensor with a previously set reference signal. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece 14 to which a component part is previously attached is set on a mounting bed 16, and by depressing a start-switch 34 to lower a press-fit plate 20 so that the component part 14 is press-fitted into the workpiece 14. When the plate 20 comes to its lowest position so that a limit switch 26 is depressed, the plate 20 is stopped, and simultaneously, a component part detecting sensor 28 delivers a detection signal through an AND gate 46 to a comparator 50 which compares the detection signal with a reference signal set by a part kind selecting switch 42. When both signals are coincedent with each other, a pass-inspection lamp 36 is turned on. |
