PURPOSE:To automatize the delivery operation of workpieces to make the manipulation of introduction switches unnecessary, and as well to make it possible to reduce a burden to the worker, by previously storing, in a memory, machining stations into which workpieces are introduced, and by controlling the delivery operation in accordance with the stored memory content. CONSTITUTION:When a work-completed container is pushed in the direction indicated by the arrow M toward the outlet of a delivery path 10 in an upstream side predetermined station 6, a control device actuates a cylinder 21 in accordance with a signal f2 from a delivery enabling detection switch T2 to push out the container. Such an operation is carried out when no container is present at the inlet of a delivery path 9 in the downstream side predetermined station which has been previously stored in the memory, that is, a signal f1 is delivered from the introduction enabling detection switch T1. With this arrangement, since a station to which a container is introduced is previously stored in a memory with respect to a station from which a container is delivered, there are required no manipulation, by the worker, of a control switch for introducing workpieces into a machining station.
