PURPOSE:To attain high speed data conversion and transfer by constituting color code conversion process at the display of two-dimensional data and converted data transfer to a display device on the basis of hard logic, and controlling the designation of functions and code conversion through a control computer. CONSTITUTION:A spectrum memory 4 stores unconverted two-dimensional original data. Receiving various command signals from a CPU, a control circuit 3 applies indication to prescribed circuits and controls the whole device. A scaler 9 reads out data stored in the memory 4 to scale the data. A control circuit 8 reads out the data stored in the memory 4 to the scaler 9, scales the data on the basis of scaling information outputted from the circuit 3 and outputs the scaled data to color converters 100-170 on the basis of expanding and contracting information. A color memory 12 receives outputs from the converters 100-170 in each channel. |
