PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the enlargement and contraction of a character and the correspondence of the density of an image and an output head by simple signal processing, in a recording head equipped with an energy generator, by providing a plurality of orifices to both surfaces of a substrate and differentiating the arrangement pitches thereof in both surfaces of said substrate. CONSTITUTION:Orifices 5 are provided to the upper part of a substrate at pitches (a)... in parallel while orifices 5' are provided to the lower part thereof at pitches (b) in the same constitution as the upper part of the substrate 1 except that said pitches (b) are made different from the pitches (a) of the upper part. That is, the orifices 5' are provided to the lower part of the substrate 1 at the same pitches of (b)... in parallel. Therefore, both surface pitches (a), (b) (anot equal to b) of the substrate are arranged so as to be different to each other. By this arrangement, the enlargement and contraction of a character can be performed in a recording head without converting a character or image signal. |
