PURPOSE:To improve the heat response efficiency and fixing efficiency of a heat roll and to prevent the titled device from toner offset by forming a heat resisting resin film layer having prescribed thickness on the heat roll. CONSTITUTION:The thin heat resisting resin film layer 5 having 20-30mum thickness is formed on the surface of an aluminum core bar 4 of the heat roll 1 constituting the heat fixing device together with a press roll 2. Heat energy from a heater 6 is efficiently transmitted to the surface of the roll 1 by the thin film and the temperature gradient between the heater 6 and the roll 1 is reduced, so that the heat response efficiency and fixing efficiency of the heat roll 2 are improved. In addition, the edge part of a large-sized copy with wide width is prevented from the generation of an offset phenomenon. |
