<p>A method is disclosed for sustained release pesticide compositions wherein one or more pesticides are blended with water-insoluble alkali lignin, with or without processing aids, under conditions of shear and heat at a temperature below the melting point of the pesticide(s). Preferably the pesticide and lignin are co-extruded and pelletized for ease of handling and application.</p> |
