PURPOSE:To enable decision on flashover path or the like by arranging as plurality of detection elements outside an object to be inspected such as vacuum interrupter or the like to detect a magnetic field generated by current. CONSTITUTION:A detector 6 comprises a detector section 7, a decision section 8 and an output display section 9. The detector section 7 is made up of a plurality of detection elements 11, 11... for detection of magnetic fields arranged in circle in the direction orthogonal the axis of a vacuum interrupter 10 on the circumference thereof as object to be detected and a circular holding frame 12 to hold the elements 11. Now when a flashover occurs inside the vacuum interupter 10, output signals detected with the elements 11, 11... are decided with the decision section 8 to be shown on a display section 9. Thus, the position where the flashover generates in the vacuum interrupter 10 can be decided. Not only the flashover generting position but also the flashover path can be determined by arranging the holding frame 12 equipped with a plurality of sensors 11, 11... by several stages. |
