The outer and inner gloves are pref. made of a soft and easily washable cotton cloth, and may be fitted over and respectively inside the heating glove (4). On its two sides the heating glove is covered by a pattern of heating wire coils (5) formed by a teflonised electrically conductive copper wire which is woven into, or applied by sewing or adhesion to the material. The heating wire is connected by a pin contact (6) to a voltage source, and where a voltage of 12 V is applied it develops an effective heat treatment for a hand affected by rheumatism, i.e. exceeding 25 V. - If the voltage source is a vehicle battery, the contact may be formed for insertion in the cigarette lighter. On the outside of the heating glove is an overheating protection (7) in the form of a thermostat which breaks the voltage supply if the temp. in the heating wire exceeds a predetermined value, e.g. 75 degrees Celsius. |
