The safety device for a firearm firing pin system comprises a firing pin (1) secured to a trigger release (2). Said device comprises a removable independent element (5) that can be engaged: - in an arrangement (6) of part of the weapon in order to deliberately block the firing pin (1) and the trigger release (2) in a position in which said firing pin (1) is either armed or not armed, removal of said element (5) allowing the firing pin (1) and the trigger release (2) to be released in order to fire a shot and/or in order to load the weapon; - in another arrangement (8) of part of the weapon in order to collaborate with the firing pin system (1), by means of complementary coupling means, in order to arm the firing pin (1). |
