Kitchen sink with twin basins

The kitchen sink is designed with a main basin and a removable smaller shallow or secondary basin which when fitted in the main basin has its own closable drainage flow. The secondary basin is pref. seated on a raised part of the base of the main basin, pref. in a corner or niche on the end side of the main basin. The drainage opening of the secondary basin pref. engages in the drainage by a short connecting pipe which is pref. provided with a sealing ring. Closing the drain is pref. by a plate valve set in a metal insert of the drain and provided with a lift-up valve plate.
