PURPOSE:To suppress both noise of an engine and vibration of an engine cover, by forming a protrusion facing toward the peripheral part of a crank pulley while a small clearance in a predetermined width over almost the whole periphery of a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:A front cover 10 forms an annular protrusion 40 in a position around a crankshaft 18, and this protrusion 40 protrudes from a position detached from the center of the crankshaft 18 toward the peripheral part of a crank pulley 30. A small clearance (t) is formed in a predetermined width (d) over the radial direction between the front cover 10 and the crank pulley 30. In this way, both noise of an engine and vibration of an engine cover can be suppressed. |
