PURPOSE:To eliminate a mechanical slide part and to prevent a decrease in precision due to mechanical abrasion, etc., by using an elastic pivot for the orthogonal two-axis rotary bearing part of a gimbals mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A hemispheical shell type movable yoke 15 is supported pivotally on a movable ring 1 with a couple of elastic pivots 12a and 12b so that it is rotatable around an intermediate movable ring 18 within the range of the 1st shaft 20. The movable ring 18, on the other hand, is formed in a ring shape surrounding a support base 30 and supported pivotally on the support base 30 by elastic pivots 12c and 12d forming the 2nd elastic pivot couple so that it rotates around the 2nd shaft 19 perpendicular to the 1st shaft 20 within a certain range. Therefore, the 2nd shaft 19 and 1st shaft 20 form mutually rotatable orthogonal axes. Consequently, a mechanical slide part is removed and a decrease in precision due to mechanical abrasion, etc., is prevented. |
