1. Anti-skid chain for vehicle tyres with holding means, coming into abutment against the inside and the outside of the tyre when the chain is assembled, for chain strand sections (10, 11) extending across the tread surface, wherein a tensioning chain attached to one end of the interior holding means formed by a resilient yoke and passed through a guide element at its other end and then across the tread surface of the tyre to a guide element (15) on the external holding means serves to tension the yoke (1) which can be passed over the tyre, characterised in that the guide element arranged on the yoke (1) braces the tensioning chain (4) upon a length which is at least equal to twice the pitch (t) of the links of the tensioning chain (4). |
