The invention concerns an apparatus for the collection and disintegration of material, particularly oblong objects such as pieces of wood, where the apparatus includes a brush mechanism (4, 9, 11, 12) in a container (1), and a disintegrator mechanism (2), into which the brush mechanism (4, 9, 11, 12) transfers the collected material, and a device to provide the brush and disintegrator mechanisms with a partial vacuum.The objective of the invention is to produce an apparatus, which can collect and disintegrate oblong objects, particularly pieces of wood.The invention is characterised by the brush mechanism being made of two endless belts (11) fitted with brush elements, which run parallel along a straight stretch in front of the disintegrator mechanism (2).<IMAGE> |
