PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device and a monitoring method for the pump device that can obtain information for managing the operational state of a pump regardless of its shape.SOLUTION: A pump device is connected to pipes for pumping fluid. The pump device comprises: a main shaft; an impeller connected to the main shaft; and bearings that pivotally support the main shaft. The pump device also comprises: a first member and a second member that form a casing; and a sensor unit. The first member and the second member are fastened to each other by bolts, and form a casing that houses at least one of the main shaft, the impeller, and the bearings. The sensor unit includes a sensor that detects vibration, and is attached to head parts of the bolts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
