PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the generation of abnormality of electrode reaction, and efficiently restrict a temperature rise and a pressure rise inside a battery by providing a negative electrode with the negative electrode mix containing the material, which can store and discharge lithium ion, and adding the predetermined quantity of ester to the negative electrode mix. SOLUTION: In a negative electrode 2, as a negative electrode active material, petroleum pitch cokes, isotropic graphite, natural graphite and artificial graphite is used, and as a binder, PVDF is used, and they are mixed with each other, and while NMP is added. Furthermore, as an ester, one kinds of methyl butyrte and butyl acetate or the mixture thereof is added at 0.5-10wt.%, and while lithium salt is added at 1-10wt.% in relation to the ester.
