PURPOSE:To prevent the forming of curve, flicker and going out at an are column by making a light emitted tube so as to rise the coldest point temperature with the coldest point heating device after detecting an acoustic resonance phenomenon, when it is generated at the light emitted tube inside of a high pressure electric-discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION:An light emitted tube 1, consisted of quartz, etc., having proper amount of enclosed rare gases and light emitted materials; besides, having sealed electrodes 2a, 2b at its both ends, is applied phosphor to its internal surface, and enclosing it into the gas sealed outside tube 8, and a high pressure electric-discharge lamp is formed. And, when an acoustic resonance phenomenon is generated at the light emitted tube 1 inside, and also, the changing at an arc column is generated, detecting the changing of its discharging characteristics with a detector 12, making the light emitted tube 1 to rise the coldest point temperature with the coldest point heating device 14, consisted of a heater, etc., through the coldest point temperature controlling circuit 13, so that its vapor pressure becomes higher; therefore, changing the sonic speed at the light emitted tube 1 inside, and, making it to change its natural frequency, and enabling it to prevent generating the acoustic resonance phenomenon, and stable burning can be maintained. |
