Drawing-punch unit and drawing-die combination integrated in a deep-drawing tool for the production of cylindrical pots with a lower reduction in the stretching value and the corresponding upsetting value. The use of these constructional elements, which engage flexibly in one another, makes it possible to work materials down to a sheet thickness of 2.5 mm with a high degree of accuracy in the geometric dimensions of the product, despite relatively high tolerances in the sheet to be worked. The known, previous production process required several stages (sequences), while tools in the combined design have advantages in terms of drawing and make possible better utilisation of the press by providing more space for further tools.
