Automatic machine for placing segregating carriers (grouping bracelets) on bottles. Method for placing segregating carriers (grouping bracelets) on bottles which have already been placed in open boxes, characterised by the fact that the segregating carriers (grouping bracelets) are moulded in clusters comprising several collars side by side, joined by filaments 12 consisting of junction channels joining the impressions of the mould at the level of the lugs 11, the number of segregating carriers (grouping bracelets) in each cluster corresponding precisely to that which is necessary for equipping a box, in that the segregating carriers (grouping bracelets) thus moulded in clusters are supplied directly in clusters, not separated, in that each cluster is taken up at the base of a magazine (store) and pushed into the lanes where separation of the segregating carriers (grouping bracelets) of the cluster, their progressive spacing apart and their transfer to a precise position above the loading station, to which a box has been conveyed, takes place, and in that placing takes place at this loading station with the aid of a vertical pressure comprising a certain number of heads with tubular mandrel which put the segregating carriers (grouping bracelets) on by bending the flexible lugs 11 and place them on the bottles by means of a slipping-over operation. <IMAGE>
