Shaving fluid for shaving with a sharp-edged razor of any kind, such as fixed-blade, removable-blade, strip, etc. The invention relates to a shaving fluid, a shaving product employed with a sharp-edged razor of any kind, such as fixed-blade, removable-blade, strip, etc. The shaving fluid consists of a thick liquid, perfumed and coloured as desired, the main property of which is to remain on the skin after repeated passes of the razor, enabling a very close shave, without irritation of the skin, to be obtained very effectively and economically. The shaving fluid can consist mainly of a water-soluble, natural or synthetic surfactant having a viscosity in the region of 3,000 centistokes at 20 DEG C. This shaving fluid is preferably a liquid soap, a liquid shampoo, a foaming gel, a liquid detergent, a bath oil, a toilet product and any similar product, such products being selected for their composition and their consistency.
