1. A compound of general formula (I), or a stereoisomer or salt thereof: wherein ----- is a single or double bond; X is NR1, Y is CH and Z is CR2; R1 is selected from H, straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl, straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl; straight or branched C2-C6 alkynyl; wherein said alkyl, alkenyl and alkynyl are each optionally substituted by at least one group selected from —C(═O)O(C1-C5alkyl), NR7R8 and amino; R2 is selected from H, —COH, straight or branched C1-C10 alkyl, straight or branched C2-C10 alkenyl; wherein said alkyl and alkenyl are each substituted by at least one substituent selected from NO2, amino, amido, tetrazolyl, pentazolyl, —CONHSO2H, —CONHSO2phenyl and —COR4; provided that when R1 is H, R2 is different than H; R4 is selected from —OH, —NH2, —O(C1-C10alkyl), wherein said alkyl is optionally interrupted by at least one heteroatom selected from O or S; said alkyl is optionally substituted by at least one group selected from amino, morpholino, —O(C1-C5alkyl), and —OCO(C1-C5alkyl); R3 is —CONR5R6, wherein said —OR3 is substituted at positions 4, 6 or 7; R5, R6, R7 and R8 are each independently and differently selected from straight or branched C1-C10 alkyl and aryl; each optionally substituted by at least one substituent selected from —OH, C1-C5 alkoxy. |
